Registration for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race is now open.
The world’s largest 10K race — and Atlanta’s signature running event — returns on the Fourth of July. And registration for the race’s coveted 60,000 spots is now open.
Registration closes April 21.
For Atlanta Track Club members, a spot is guaranteed, along with placement in start waves A-M. Registration costs $60.
For everyone else, there’s the race’s traditional lottery system. Nonmembers must enter the lottery for a chance to participate. The cost for selected nonmembers is $80.
“Moments like this don’t come around often,” said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club and race director of the Peachtree. “The 250th anniversary of the United States is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and there is no better place to celebrate the Fourth of July than at the Peachtree in Atlanta. This year is an open invitation to people from across the country — and around the world — to come experience something truly special. ‘Peachtree Unites’ reflects what this race has always done best: bringing people together in a way that goes far beyond the finish line.”
2026 marks the introduction of Northside Hospital as the title sponsor of the race. This year’s theme is “Peachtree Unites,” celebrating the race’s ability to unite the community around sport.
The Peachtree’s 10K distance ensures inclusivity for everyone, from elite world-class runners to those running their first-ever event. It’s that inclusivity that’s made the Peachtree Road Race the largest 10K event in the world.
How to register
All Atlanta Track Club members are guaranteed entry for $60 and placement in Wave M or earlier on race day. Nonmembers must enter the lottery for a chance to participate at a price of $80. All lottery entrants have an equal chance of selection, and results will be announced shortly after registration closes.
It’s not too late to join Atlanta Track Club and get a guaranteed spot at the lower price.
Atlanta Track Club also sets aside a limited number of entries for supporters of its Peachtree with a Purpose: Kilometer Kids program, the club’s free, game-based curriculum designed to teach kids in grades K-5 about goal setting, healthy habits, respect and community building through running. Kilometer Kids serves nearly 5,000 kids each year.
In addition to the main race, registration is also open for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior race for kids age 6-14, which will take place on July 3.
Voting for the race’s signature T-shirt is open through April 10 exclusively on the AJC News app. In-person runners will receive the coveted shirt as they cross the finish line, while virtual racers will receive their shirt shortly afterward.
