Groves and Pataula Charter hired head coaches this week, leaving only two GHSA schools that have not announced their coaches entering summer workouts. Those are Terrell County and Crawford County.

Groves, a Class 5A school in Savannah, hired Westside of Macon assistant Howard Jordan to replace Calvin Wells.

Pataula, a Class A school in Calhoun County, hired weight-training instructor Jackie Duke to replace T.J. Brown.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has identified 96 coaching changes this offseason — the most since 2023, when there were 104. The average this decade is 91.
